Amazing, caring staff who are patient and thorough. Breastfeeding can be HARD and they are always there to help.
They were so incredibly supportive and helpful when I welcomed my first baby last year! I was so comfortable and learned some valuable info that helped support my breastfeeding journey of 13+ months!
Dr Toff and Lora have saved my breast feeding journies with both my last two children. They are caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. My son's tongue tie was released quickly and enabled him to eat peoperly. They diagnosed thrush that was missed with two other pediatricians. I couldn't be more grateful for them.
I strongly recommend this center to all Moms who are new at breastfeeding! Luckily, we haven’t faced too many challenges with breastfeeding so far, but we certainly gained a lot of helpful information and tips thus far. We just wanted to make sure this little gal was getting enough and they helped reassure us. We love our pediatrician, but this center offers much more than your typical office visit. So grateful for resources like this!
I struggled with my son gaining weight his first three weeks of life. His latch was great, but he wasn't getting enough milk and my supply was poor. I saw a few doctors and no one mentioned tongue tie until I went to the center. Dr. Toff and Lora saw it right away. It was a textbook case. They did the procedure the very next day (today actually) and I'm already noticing a difference in how he feeds. I took the Prenatal Breasfeeding class yesterday and am so glad I did! I really learned a lot...things that I had not known or read before about how to get a successful latch, etc. I feel like I will be able to breastfeed my baby with little to no troubles now! I really enjoyed meeting the Lora, the Lactation Consultant, and Dr. Toff from the Children's Healthcare Center - I can tell he is very knowledgable as a doctor and I love that he also specialized in lactation. Dr. Toff & Laura were incredible yesterday. They saw us at 4:30 pm on a Saturday to clip my 2-day old son's tongue tie. They certainly weren't "open" and both stayed late to care for us. Incredible care and service & what a difference it has made in our nursing journey already! I would highly recommend the LV Breastfeeding center to any new Mom or anyone looking for a second opinion.
