I had to break my lease at this apartment, and the management clearly told me it would take about 2 weeks to post my unit back on the market. It has now been over 2 months — exactly 70 days — and they still haven’t listed it. In the meantime, they continue to charge me for the lease as if they are actively trying to re-rent the unit, which they are not. This feels extremely unfair and misleading. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I was forced to break my lease due to relocation and was given two options: either pay out the remaining six months of my lease term or continue paying rent until the apartment was re-rented. I chose the second option, relying on their representation that the unit would be renovated and listed within approximately 2–3 weeks. Excellent staff and facility.
The renovation experience in this building was extremely frustrating. There were people yelling right outside our windows as early as 8 AM, even on Saturdays. Despite multiple complaints, management didn’t take action or seem to listen. They had announced that the updates would be completed by summer, but even after all the noise and disruption, the work was not finished.
