They charged half a million dollars for a day surgery! Outrageous
Legent Hospital has been pursuing me for a $1,000 payment since November 2025. In September 2025, I underwent surgery at BodEvolve in Richardson, TX, and I made full payment according to the amount quoted at my pre-operative visit. Legent Hospital has been after me for $1,000 since November 2025. Here's the deal: I had surgery at BodEvolve in Richardson, TX in September 2025. I paid in full before the procedure, but a few days before, the surgery center asked for an extra $1,000. I want to start by saying the doctors that work out of this place are not tied to it. They are not part of this review. Same goes for nursing staff as they were excellent in care, for the most part. I paid these folks just under $4,000 the day of my surgery as they stated that what was owed per my insurance carrier. I assumed they filed this properly, but they didn’t.
