Iowa Legal Aid is a disgrace to justice & a weaponized fraud vehicle against men! They ignore facts, spit on due process & violate Iowa & federal law by siding with women no matter what. If you’re a man, don’t expect fairness—expect to be thrown under the bus. They enable false accusations, tear families apart, & leave good men defenseless. Great ,caring office staff and legal team especially if one has very limited finances.. They got me help on the same day I called them.
I thought last year and that I am a legal aid would be a huge help to me. I really did. I thought I stood a chance at getting somebody to help me. I don’t know what you have to do to receive help from Iowa legal aid, but I have gone through them twice I was fortunate enough to get a legal advocate. And she has been fantastic. but the intake attorney they send you to Tony Almquist. He is kind of a jerk.
