This is absolutely unacceptable. To put you in a hallway with no privacy is ridiculous. My wife came in with severe chest pains vomiting and diarrhea. I understand waiting to get triaged but putting is on a hallway in a freaking plastic chair to wait for doctor and imagine is absolutely ridiculous. No private restroom to use to vomit and relieve herself is so wrong. We waited 3 hours to get seen and now she has to wait in the waiting room with all the people waiting to see a doctor. She is hooked up to an IV running to the p... read more

My husband had emergency surgery at Good Sam and was then admitted to 6 center.  We have only praise for the hospital stay. The nurses and ancillary  personnel were all knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and kind. My only complaint is that the cafeteria is closed on weekends. All in all an exceptional experience.

May 23rd 2025 Friday 2:30pm Legacy Salmon Creek Emergency room made my 80 year old mother wait 9 hours to get no results. My mom fell in her bathroom her face hitting the tile ledge of her shower. She had smashed up her nose and lip, jammed her jaw and scraped up her face. After waiting an hour they did an ct scan told her it would be 10 minutes and sent her back to the waiting room. She was told not to eat or drink. They never came back. After 8 hours she tried to get the results. No one could give her that information. ... read more

This is not about myself.  My sister was brought in for Stomach pain. She was admitted due to a bowel blockage. Standard protocol is an NG tube which they were unable to do because of a prior surgery.  If anybody knows, a bowel obstruction Will become critical if not addressed quickly. They were "Waiting " for a bed to be available at OHSU. Within a few days her bowels ruptured. She was THEN IMMEDIATELY SENT TO GOOD SAM.  She had emergency surgery, was put on dialysis , because it damaged her kidneys ,Put on a breathing tube... read more

I had to call four times to make sure they received my order for the first 18 tests I got done, my doctor had to fax it twice. Finally they confirmed and I went it. I tried verbally verifying they got everything. I have chronic illness so I'm used to messed up orders. I asked if they had 18. The person verified without physically counting but I took their word. I had tests slowly trickle in. The two I was most concerned about hadn't come after two weeks. I called. They accidentally missed entering those two. The two labs t... read more

Do not go here if your child is having suicidal ideation, unless what you're looking for is to be told that you basically need to monitor them 24/7, stay up all night with them, whatever it takes. As a single parent. Who is somehow supposed to still have a job while doing all of this monitoring and not sleeping. My adopted teen has an extensive abuse history. I brought him here after he raised a knife at me, then had several self-harm attempts and suicidal ideation, including a plan to jump out his 2nd story window, all ov... read more

Friendly staff. Knowledge technologist in Xray, Mammography and bone density. Easy parking upstairs... Just park and walk in. Blooming area. Better than driving into Portland to get the same services!
