VERY RARELY did anything ever get accomplished on work orders called in. Had a burning wire smell enough concern for me to dial 911 only to be told by maintenance that the smell wasn't a wire burning after the people who deal with stuff burning said it was a wire smell. This is just one example of many. And now that I left after my lease was up, not one piece of mail or phone call to discuss what they are trying to charge me for after I left, including dusting. My son had a horrible experience living at Legacy Mills. We didn't have a properly working fridge for two weeks; we didn't have hot water in one bathroom for over a month; we were locked out of my gagrage for two weeks; water came into the unit from outside and the list goes on. The HVAC next to window kept us from sleeping for three months, culminating in the involvement lawyers, insurance companies and code enforcement for lack of permitting. It was a nightmare! Most people I have spoken to moved to Westpark and Fairways.
I’ve lived here five years. Good floorplans, excellent management and maintenance teams, quiet community, and utilities included. Rent costs increase every time I renew the lease, with a recurring $50 fee for paying rent online. Trash and recycling collection is an issue, with the dumpster usually overflowing into the road. There are not enough parking spots for each unit, so you will often have to park far from your apartment during spring and fall. Residents with pets often leave droppings in grass.
