One day surgery in the short stay unit. Every staff person was attentive, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, supportive and respectfully answered all of my questions. I think the unit was 2B. Can’t say enough words to express my thanks to the whole team from pre-op appointment to pre-op nurses to OR staff to recovery room staff and then post- op nursing and PT. All “A” team-and a five star experience. Thank you.
To date my brother who has had phenomenal hernia pain for months had no appointments. Brief consultations. My brother continues to experience excruciating pain. And yet the surgical staff fails to take action. I suggested he contact the Oregon State Attorney General, his state and local representative. I am surprised this continues. Is anyone calling Legacy to take action. Community hospitals are the worse for any care needing immediate action. In the past I've worked for them. On April 8th I was riding my bicycle to work after making a wide left to make a right turn to a paved trail when I guy on a little scooter on the sidewalk not sure if it was electric or not t-boned me. When I got to the hospital they took X-rays of my left thigh since that was my main complaint. After looking at the X-rays they came to me and told me that I was being admitted to the hospital and either have surgery that night or the next day.
