Was just released from Hospice 6 days ago, after being forced in to Hospice in the first place a few months ago. The Hospice doctor determined that I wasn't as bad as determined and didn't really need to be on Hospice. I was released generally with 2 weeks medication to give the VA time to transfer me back over to their system that Hospice had transferred me off of. Legacy is the best company They are so professional great great company.
Legacy Hospice was being trusted by my brother to a great degree for our mother’s end of life care. Unfortunately thanks to the absolute belligerent insistence of the nurse in particular her cremation was ultimately handed off to Tulip in Portland in lieu of one locally. It is more expensive - by a long shot. After being a career long Legacy supporter this place has fallen, and I am personally and professionally remorseful for anyone I’ve ever referred here. Legacy Hospice workers were skilled, kind and readily available 24/7. Whether by phone or in person they were always compassionate about my mother’s care. They promptly provided what was needed to improve her quality of life and insure her comfort. With the help and support of Legacy Hospice we were able to give my Mom a painless and peaceful death.
