My Real Estate Agent recommended Legacy Home inspections during the purchase of a home. The inspector arrived on time. I foolishly relied on their insurance to cover errors and omissions. Don't make the same mistake. The Inspector did not find problems totaling over $5500 to fix. They take no responsibility for omissions, referring you to their contract that is so one sided it is more like a waiver of responsibility for them. 1 One of the electrical outlets did not work. I was almost ran off the road because of a guy who was driving their company car. I’m not sure how they are going to inspect homes if they don’t even know how to properly drive. Way to represent your company by having an arrogant, rude jackass behind the wheel. You are going to get somebody killed if you keep letting your people drive like that. Beware they do not test your appliances, nor do they check for power to your outlets or light fixtures. The inspector clicked the light switch and stated the bad light bulb. I purchased a home and ended up with all of the appliances broken and no electricity in the bedroom, not because of the bad light bulb but a MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE issue!
