My favorite! The Left Bank is one of my favorite resturants in the world and I have travelled a bit. The decor is tasteful and the perfect atmosphere for a intimate dinner.I am in love with the carrot parpadella! I think of that dish almost daily! The service was outstanding. I would recommend this resturant to everyone, especially to out of towners as a gem in Buffalo!
Excellent food. As other reviewers note, the food at the Left Bank is always excellent and creative. I can't think of a food experience here that was anything less than excellent. It can be loud though, especially at brunch when they have live music, in close proximity to some of the tables.
Yummy On a whim, I went into the Left Bank on a weekday night. Because I did not have a reservation, I sat at the bar, enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir, a luscious appetizer (a large portobello mushroom cap filled with a bread/garlic/cheese stuffing, with a wine reduction) and an excellent entree. The service was prompt, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend the food and the decor.
unique tasteful dining experience this restaurant is a leap away from your chain restaurants and steak houses and offers unique tasteful and handsomely presented dinners and apps. the port mush fries are amazing as are they're daily ravioli special; it is as big as your plate and worth trying every time! make a reservation and make it romantic.
Brunch Favorite This is a great place for Sunday brunch with live music, an excellent menu and good service. Reservations are a must. The food is excellent. The only complaint is that it is noisy and sometimes difficult to hear.
One of my friends recommended this restaurant. I really enjoyed atmosphere and food. This is very nice and reasonable place. :)
Best calamari on the planet
great chicken! – everything I have had there is good, but I love the chicken. I wish they would expand so that it wasn't so hard to get a table there at the last minute. reservations are a must. nice staff, relaxed yet upscale ambiance
Best Brunch – I was recently here for brunch with a group of friends. As our reservation number changed (a few times) the hostess was very accomadating about the changes. Our table was ready quickly, despite the different request. The service was amazing, friendly and efficient. Drinks were brought quickly, and the food was very good. The live music was entertaining and the space is quaint. I highly recommend this place for brunch!
