This review is based on what I observed during several hours while in the ER with my mother. I chatted with several other family members during those many hours. Patients are too often neglected and misdiagnosed at this hospital. An ER doctor told a man who had fallen and scraped his face that he had skin cancer without performing a single test. An elderly woman was left crawling on the floor after falling while her sitter and nurse ignored her and was left sitting in her feces for half an hour after a bout of diarrhea. The ... read more
Go here to get an infection. This hospital is a giant petri dish. Nearly every heart surgery patient will eventually have to have the sternum removed due to infection.
Triage handled tasks with care. X-ray tech-considerate. Dr. Ready-competent/knowledgeable/appropriate. RN Randy-compassionate. Tony explained jargon allowing me to trust their process. Thank you .
There's a Nazi parking attendant that steaks patrol outside the front lobby. Make sure you're in the right parking area or otherwise he will hunt you down!!!
Walgreens offers complimentary Bedside Delivery Service to patients being discharged! Skip the pharmacy, and go right home! Look for the signs in the hospital or ask your nurse!
If you arrive after 8:30 pm, the main entrances will be closed. Enter through Emergency. They will patient name & room number and will give a visitor's pass.
Ma'm I don't think your water broke, I think it's quite possible that you pee'd yourself on aisle 5
Emergency is one of the slowest I have ever been to.
This hospital is so much better then South Lake in Clermont, Florida. The staff here is so respectful & caring.
