Bland – If you like food that will not stimulate your tastebuds, Leann Chin is the ultimate restaurant. It's pretty bland, although, on the positive side, there are no real losers, either. Acceptable.
overrated – Mass produced Chinese food! No real choices beyond traditional fare and tastes are just as traditional.....
Don't think so... – It is over-hyped, bland and boring food. But what can you expect from mass market fast food? It is the MacDonald's of Chinese.
UGHH More Chain Restaurants – Like most restaurants in the Twin Cities area, this chain has become too Americanized. It is like comparing the restaurants in NYC's Little Italy to Olive Garden.
ARE YOU KIDDING? – LEANN CHIN IS THE MOST NASTY CHINESE FOOD IN THE WORLD, BAR NONE! THE ONLY REASON IT KEEPS GETTING RATED THE MOST POPULAR BY PEOPLE IN THE TWIN CITIES IS BECAUSE IT WAS THE ONLY CHINESE FOOD AROUND FOR YEARS. Chinese Chop Shop – Leann Chin's is good if you are looking for fast food style chinese. Not the best chinese in Minneapolis.
chino-americano – Leann Chin consistently serves good food, but it's not authentic Chinese. The times when they've added REAL chinese items, they seem to disappear from the menu quickly, apparently from lack of interest from a nondiscerning public. Perhaps if more Twincitians dared to venture to the real chinese restaurants, they'd realize the difference. Next time you're in NYC, LA or San Fran, be adventurous, you won't regret it!
Chinese food for the non-chinese – What! I hate to say this, but this is white man's Chinese food.
you have got to be kidding me – Leann Chin is to authentic Chinese as Taco Bell is to authentic Mexican. Sure, it's cheap, and there are restaurants in most suburban shopping areas, and most Byerlies as well, but the food is suitable for your Chinese cravings only when money is tight and/or you're unwilling to look around for places like Hong Kong Noodle, Grand Shanghai and Rainbow Cafe.
