EDIT: We finally heard back, my boyfriend decided to use Dr Skandalakis as he had done a lot of research on who to go to prior to us trying to schedule. My boyfriend highly recommends him. He did a wonderful job! His receptionist - eh, she was nice but not always efficient. Outside of the issue reaching someone in the beginning, she had over charged at one point but eventually fixed it after asking a few times over a few weeks about it. Absolutely the best. Saved my husband, literally. Previous surgery for hernia by another Doctor a few years ago led to emergency repair by Dr Skandalakis. He is is an excellent surgeon, caring and kind. Highly recommend him and his expertise. Thank you Dr Skandalakis and Staff!
Dr. Skandalakis performed a robotic repair surgery to repair a reoccurring hernia from a failed traditional surgery from almost 20 years ago (that was done by a different surgeon). The outcome of the surgery with Dr. Skandalakis was astounding. Not only did the fact that it was a second surgery in the same location not phase him, I was without discomfort within a week. At the time of writing this review it’s a year after the surgery and I can’t tell that I’ve had surgery in that location, never mind two surgeries.
Dr. Skandalakis and Miss Debbie treated me with kindness, expertise and thus far, I am very happy with surgery and recovery. Highly recommend.
I would highly recommend Dr. Lee Skandalakis for anyone needing a hernia repair. My hubby had a procedure done and the whole process was smooth, flawless, and stress free. They are very kind, professional, and super efficient (especially for ATL). They were always on time and we knew exactly what to expect throughout the process. You can tell he is very knowledgeable in his field and was very easy to trust with this surgery. Thanks again for your help!
