My experience with this assignment was extremely disappointing. I put forth my best effort to provide for my family, but my time there ended after I witnessed a manager, Pam McPhail, making negative comments about my appearance. I find it incredibly disappointing that LHH doesn’t extend the basic courtesy of a rejection email to applicants who aren’t selected for interviews. Having worked with several agencies over the years as a recruiter, I can say that failing to follow up with candidates is one of the most unprofessional missteps in recruitment. If you try to call for an update on your application and identify yourself as a job seeker, you receive an automated response directing you to apply online and wait to be contacted if there’s interest. I recently interviewed with Marisa for a position I was interested in. The position unfortunately went on hold, but she communicated with me the whole way through and let me know when the decision was made. I appreciate her professionalism and her easygoing approach to the interview.
