I broke my ankle last year. The staff was awesome but wow did I get screwed on overage charges. My insurance paid the allowable of $500 but I was stuck with over $500 of additional charges for milage and ACLS surcharges. It was my right foot so yeah I had to have a plate and 7 screws placed. So wait how was this an ACLS incident ? What a rip off you call 911 because you can't get up and you get screwed.
