I asked for a price before replacing the battery and he was evasive. It was a new watch and he opened the watch with a knife, and took the watch apart to change the battery. His hands are no longer able to do the intricate work needed for a watch. I had to help him with everything. Then he asks for $40 for a battery change. He tried to shake me down for more money because I’m a little old lady. He is a crook and dishonest. Don’t go there.
I thought my new Fossil watch would be safe in the pool but nope ♀️ just meant for an occasional accidental splash not a water park Took my watch to get the water out from the face and any repars on the inside it needed Also replaced the leather strap on my other Fossil watch from green to brown from the selection he had. David was able to easily resize my watch for a good price. He was very kind and sweet and I enjoyed speaking to him as he worked. He even allowed me to help a little and I learned a bit about the different steps involved with removing and reattaching the links.
They repaired my mom’s watch yesterday, he as super fast and so nice , best price 👍👍👍
Imagine agreeing on repairs to be done, and then doing something else. My gf wanted her decreased grandmother's watch repaired. It needed a new face and some links taken off. This guy failed on both fronts and took a week to do it. He polished the face instead of replacing it. Then, when asked to take out 2 links, he took out 3. So now it's too tight and she needs to go somewhere else. Esp if you're a female, avoid. Very clear to me this guy is a "father knows best" sorta guy. He will not listen to you.
