Misread my chart and prior A1C recordings. Also I was hoping she would be able to provide some insight or guidance on why it is nearly impossible for me to lose weight in spite of 1200 calorie a day diet and regular strenuous activity. (I'm convinced my thyroid is not functioning optimally.) Nope, instead she said condescendingly, "losing weight is hard." Wow, no kidding.
Dr. LeBlanc spent maybe 5 minutes in the room with me. The first thing she said to me pertained to my A1c - there was no care in how I am doing as a person or what is happening in my life. Dr. LeBlanc asked for my pump and made changes to it without asking my consent or consulting me. I understand I may not be the perfect diabetic, but caring for the whole person is imperative. I would not recommend Dr. LeBlanc.

Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. PCP referred me to Dr. Le Blanc. I called the office multiple times, but couldn't get through to anyone. I had to drive to the office to make my appointment. When I asked Dr. LeBlanc what was causing my hyperthyroidism, she condescendingly put her hand in my shoulder and said "sometimes these things happen and we don't know why" then tried to talk me into radioactive iodine treatment. She had lab results showing I have Graves Disease. Disappointing.
I love Dr LeBlanc and the staff. DrLeBlanc took her time, listened and was very supportive of my problem. She was able to provide a solution and I followed her advice. I am feeling so much better. I would highly recommend her and will also continue to see her also. The staff were so friendly and made you feel very comfortable. When I called with my situation they somehow got me in to see Dr LeBlac as soon as possible.
I strongly recommend Dr. LeBlanc. She is thorough, careful, and caring. Great bedside manner and always follows through.
