Great Food, Great Service, Great Cigars!!!. I've had the pleasure of dinning at Leaf several times over the last few months and each experience was better than the last - I live over an hour away and it is well worth the trip - the friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff make you feel like you own the joint - whether you're having dinner with your wife, having a drink at the bar, or kicking back in the lounge watching the game, Leaf is a great place to enjoy a good cigar, good friends, and great food.
Not what it aspires to be. Location, location, LOCATION? First, A pain to get to. From there, an OK place but not the high end experience you might believe you are getting from the promo. Bourbon selection is not even close. Service is about what you'd expect from Applebees. No filet or strip on the menu, $30 bucks for a ribeye? And, don't even try the skirt steak. Leaf Restaurant Cigar Bar and Lounge. My husband and I enjoyed the food so much the first time that we have now become regulars.... Chef Evan is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly.... It is a must try for everyone.....Also, they have wonderful ventilation for the cigar smoke.... My fav. dish is the skirt steak...Yummy....
The Food Does Not Live Up To The Decor. My daughter was very excited to try this place so I took her for lunch. The decor was sophisticated and the menu looked promising. We started with two soups which were delicious. We ordered Mussels in a Beer Broth and Thai Tuna Lettuce wraps. The waitress asked us if rare Tuna was okay with us. What we got was slimy raw tuna scraps mixed with a sweet sauce piled over white rice on a piece of lettuce with spring roll sauce on the side. The tuna should have been seared and sliced.
