Take your pet anywhere else if at all possible. I have never experienced such fear mongering, high pressure car sales like tactics, guilt tripping, dishonest and immoral business practices ever. Call around and try to get into any regular vet before going here or just show up at a regular vet and beg to be seen. We took our cat here was quoted $2000 just to look at him. So they don't just do a regular exam and say okay his lungs are raspy so lets do an xray. Okay the xray shows pneumonia so lets grab some labs. They do... read more

If you love your pet, do not bring them there! Please believe the bad reviews. These people should NOT BE IN THIS BUSINESS. The lack of care, empathy and even respect is outrageous. They are more interested in taking your money than saving your pet’s life!! I brought my dog there, who was diagnosed with liver failure, and they made us wait 5h to get a consult and xray. Meanwhile my sick dog was sitting in the cage in the back without getting proper care! They then brought us a 6K bill for a 48h hospitalization, and billing ... read more

I had a really bad experience at Leader. There were too many incompetencies. One of them I’ll mention is they charged me for a dogs medication when I have a cat. It stated clearly a “30mg bottle of Capromelin for Dogs” on my receipt for $109.62. When I brought it to their attention, they could not be wrong. They constantly said: “It’s a donation”. But this made no sense because my cat was given a “5 gram tube” of a similar medication for cats. They would not remove the 30mg bottle as it states on my receipt for 109.62. You c... read more

I used the cardiologist here, Nick Schroder. He performed and EKG and Echo on my dog and then came back in the room handed me the papers and said come back in 6 months. Gave me literally three seconds of his time. Did not ask if I had any comments or questions. Did not explain anything to me. did not want to spend one second with me. Two months later my dog died of heart failure. Do not use this cardiologist, please find someone else that will give you the time of day.

Awful. It was the worst run place - EVER- they just leave you there with no information about what is going on with your animal. A women in front of us had been there for (13) hours the day before and since she had no answers and no relief for her pet she was back the next day when I was there for another (4) hours with no information. They just leave you in a cold small exam room for hours. There is only on vet there and when they changed shifts you got to sit there for another approx (2) hours while they did the exch... read more

On 8/29/21, at 4pm we took our small dog Joey to LeadER after he was biten by my neighbor's dog. Upon entering, they took Joey inside and all seemed fine. At 5:30pm a female, who ID herself as a Nurse, advised Joey was anxious and would be given medication to relax him. Nurse further advised there were 4 other dogs ahead of us and since his wounds were not life threatening he would be OK. We felt relived of course, but at 8pm I again asked for a status on Joey. Staff advised they had a triage situation to handle but it sh... read more

This WAS my go-to emergency and specialty clinic for over 15 years. I have spent thousands of dollars with no hesitation. I can't say that anymore. I am not sure what is going on but I will never go back. (two of their best veterinarians, Alvarez & Unis have left (over December/January 2020/21.) My dog was hospitalized for pancreatitis and he wasn't eating at the hospital so I opted to take him home with medication and a plan from the veterinarian. No one called to check on him. I called the day after he left because I had q... read more

Small Dog Owners Beware!!! On Wednesday my maltese mix acutely developed autoimmune hemolytic anemia Unfortunately LeadER was recommended to us Though the vets are very competent, at night, only one is working and their priority is to stabilize emergencies Leaving your loved one in the ICU cared for by nurses Coyote received 3 transfusions over 3 days and although she was improving, the hematocrit had stabilized, she was still breathing rapidly and remained on O2 On Friday, the third day, I visited at 4 pm, she was finally ... read more
