Went in a few weeks ago but only visited the bakery portion as the restaurant was full. Gabby was a BIG help in helping me decide what to bring home. She was helpful, patient, and kind. Best part, the dessert was FABULOUS! Thank you Gabby!
Deserts were awesome, coffee & cappuccino were just fair. Wait staff although friendly it was poor. Only there for desert & coffee. Desert platter sat down in front of us and waiter said he wold get out coffee. So there we sat without silverware or napkins for 5 min. When he brought us our coffee I asked for forks and thought it was clear we didn't have napkins either but all he did was swoop by with the forks and dashed off before I could tell him that we also needed napkins. I have been to le Chocolat Du Bouchard many times for dessert but this was my first visit for lunch. We very much enjoyed the day's special: Chicken Cordon Bleu & Frisee Salad with Chocolate Balsamic Dressing followed by a decadent Brownie Sundae (sweetly served with "Happy Birthday" written on the plate in chocolate!) The server was not told it was a celebration, but overheard a birthday "cheers" as she approached the table, just a small sign of her excellent service. Magnifique!

Our deserts were very good however, the service was lacking. It's a shame too because the place has a nice atmosphere and great deserts.
It's a shame that this company doesn't pay any mind to all of the awful service stories and ratings. It has the potential to be something very great in such a perfect location. It was our first time visiting here and we were just getting hot chocolates to go. It took 4 people to give us different directions for just where to order and pick up the hot chocolate.
