Living here is a great experience. The buildings themselves are unique and in good repair. The attached restaurants and amenities make the experience even better. The neighbors are generally friendly and trustworthy. But all of that is nothing compared to the quality of the staff. I was a victim in a violent home invasion at Mallard Crossing at St. Matthews. I was ambushed, bound, duct taped and tortured on the apartment complex property on Mallard Creek drive. PMR Companies of Louisville, Kentucky refuse to honor what the Mallard management promised years ago when there was a conviction of their former career-criminal resident. Google, "Jonathan Hay Home Invasion" to learn more about this tragedy. I warn you to do any business with PMR Companies and Mallard Crossing.

BEWARE!! Incompetent liars.... $225 administration fee/$65 application fee...both NONREFUNDABLE....and they take a $200 deposit PRIOR to signing a lease or even stepping into applied for unit. Took over a week to find out about being approved after numerous unreturned phone calls and non-responded emails. When you are finally able to meet with someone face to face, they try to say the rate on the apartment you applied for went up. What? Please be aware they will let cockroaches infest your apartment before doing anything about it. I’ve been complaining and telling them for months. Now every apartment in my building is infested

I lived here for 3 and 1/2 years. If you're planning on only living here a year this might be a great place for you put if you're planning on living here longer stay away! They will charge you fees for everything! If you're not a stay at home all day person and can't get your trash can in at the exact time- fee! Know this! even if you clean your carpets, they will replace them after every tenant. while that's nice for the next person just know you will be required to pay for the carpet replacement! Everything about the LC communities, this one in particular, is a scam. They will steal your money and break your heart. My husband and I made so many memories while living here, we got married, we brought our puppy home, we started our family, and now that we have moved out and are being scammed out of over $700, those memories are in jeopardy of being ruined.
