The food here takes basic up a level but I like it for groups since it has a large variety of stuff to eat and drink. I stick with the burgers. This location has ample parking.
Good service – The service is usually quite good and the staff is friendly. The food has been wonderful 5 out of the 6 times that I have visited.
Like BJ's Brewery only better – I've been to 3 different Lazy Dog Cafe's and I enjoyed their food, atmosphere, and service each and every time. The food is really good, and they always give nice and friendly service. And even though this time they messed up on my 7 yr. old son's order, they took the charge off the bill. BLAH! – The service is clumsy. Both people who assisted me seemed to be new. One of the employees knocked my cup into my dish. The manager simply comped my meal, and I had to wait almost 15 minutes for a new one! The food did not even taste good enough to make up for my hungry anticipation. It tasted like a lot of sodium was just thrown into my wok platter, and I felt jipped. The only good thing was the chicken tenders, but I think that gave me upset stomach. I'm not going back here again.
New Bar/Resaturant near the movie theatre – I've been here twice on a Sunday morning. They have good breakfast/brunch and drink specials. The bloody mary mix they have is VERY spicy, ask the bartender for a taste before you try it. Both times I ordered the Hawaiian Breakfast which is fried rice with meat and vegetables and an egg on top. The portion was big and it was served steaming hot. My friend got the Denver omelette breakfast special, she said it was great. Nice ambience, and nice people.
Great food AND excellent service – I frequent Lazy Dog Cafe and LOVE IT. I can go there with a girlfriend and have a glass of wine and gossip -or- go with my husband and 2 kids. The service there is great, I have never come across a bad/unhelpful waiter/waitress. The girl when I called in take-out was so helpful that they brought out my food to the car when I was pregnant had had my little one with me. I would recommend them to everyone!! Great to go for birthday parties too :)
Great find – We just happened to stop by this restaurant, and were pretty impressed. The food was really tasty, nicely prepared. Cool atmosphere. The drinks were really good. You have to try the cobbler!
