Hey, thank you so much for wasting our evening. You took our name for a table and asked us to wait outside. We waited 30 minutes after being told it would be 15. When we checked in, you unapologetically indicated our reservation was missing and you could get us a table “in about 15-20 minutes”. Maybe writing names haphazardly on a blank sheet of paper with a highlighter wasn’t such a great idea after all. We’ll never come back. Thanks for the apology and the accommodation. Much appreciated.
RecommendedI met a friend I haven’t seen in a year for lunch at Lazlo’s on 192nd Street yesterday and really appreciated the extra safety measures they were taking. There was a hostess sitting at a table outside, wearing a mask, who you check in with when you get there. They require face masks when you’re walking around inside the restaurant (walking to your table or the restroom, walking out), but you can take the mask off when you’re sitting at your table.
