Wasn't crowded at least at the hour that I went. The staff was polite too.
Really friendly staff and management.
Absolutely loved shooting the 357 magnum Smith & Wesson. Definitely going back soon.
HORRIBLE safety!!!! – I wish I could give this place NO STARS! All the bad reviews are right. The entire time I was there--which wasn't long--I was paranoid that someone was going to just step 1 foot back from their flimsy stall and go crazy on everyone. I mean think about it, would you in your right mind stand in a small room of 20 STRANGERS that all have loaded guns they're firing??? A Nice range to witness sucide and poor safety – 10/09/11 I've been shooting for years at many ranges over the years. I once took my son to Lazer Tag and there was a long 10 min instructional orientation on how to use the guns and safety before you enter the range. NONE of that at L.A.X. Firing Range. If you want to get killed, please go here – After many visits to this range I have finally been hurt. Simply put I was struck in the back by a ricochet, which not only punctured my skin and startled me, but to add insult to injury the staff told me "it happens, what do you want us to do". I was injured here and the staff couldn't have cared less. They even charged me full price for my 5 minutes of hell. Dangerous! – I have been here quite a few times, but the last time I went to take my girlfriend on her birthday, there were about 3-4 young black guys who clearly did not know how to safely handle a firearm. They were so careless that they pointed a loaded and cocked rifle right at my face. They were sitting at the bench way behind the firing line waving the rifle around and shooting down range. A 75 foot indoor shooting range with 14 stations. Great cast of folks work here. Very knowledgeable. Always willing to help out. A FULLY stocked pro shop. An outstanding gunsmith (T.J.) is available. Call for times he is on site. Great ammo deals by the case. Holsters, gun cases, knives. They have them all. Various shooting lessons, classes, etc. available.
