Best doctor! Such a nice and caring doctor, you can tell he puts the patients first. Both my husband and I have seen Dr Tierney for over 20 years and we appreciate him and his expertise!
Dr. Tierney has been my doctor for over 20 years. He has always taken his time with me, listened to my problems and taken action as needed.
The procedure went smoothly but the prep is horrendous. Yes, had this done before but still the prep is awful. Staff was nice but it seems they could wear name tags as there are a lot of interaction with staff. This is a SSM Endoscopy center but I could not find on ssmmychart.
I have read some of these reviews and do not understand some of the low ratings. Some were not even a concern with him personally. I Have been with Dr Tierney for over 30 years...He is very Knowledgeable and Professional. He explains everything and answers any questions you may have. He has a deep concern for your health and well being. Like most Doctors he is very busy and sometimes it is hard to get a early appointment. It was a non visit, was appalled at the actions of this doctor and his words to me. No help at all, waste of time and money
He was horrible and did not want to even examine me and this was before covid. He washed his hands more than helping or talking to me.
SSM Endoscopy center billed me for a procedure that failed and had to be repeated due to being provided incorrect instructions and they will not resolve the issue. Do not use SSM Health if you can work with BJC or a private practice.
Dr, Tierney decided my gallbladder was causing my intense stomach pain, even though previous tests indicated it is fine. He ordered two more expensive tests; both negative for gallbladder disease. He has no further suggestions other than "live with it." The online test reports show a hiatal hernia protruding into my chest
Dr. Tierney is very personable and does an outstanding job. He calls you with your results and cares for your understanding of what is involved in your procedure. He also has a very good staff of nurses.
