This hospital is the worst! I was here with my daughter who had just turned 1 for an upper respiratory infection back in February. We arrived at the hospital around noon. They literally shoved us into a back room used for storage that had a bed in it after triage and forgot about is for hours. Once they came in the nurses and doctors did not provide any details and just ran tests. A few hours went by and a doctor comes in and tells us my daughter has to be admitted. FOR WHAT!? I ask. My idea of fun was not going to the hospital on Christmas, but I had extreme back pain. I expected the long wait, but did not appreciate the I don't care attitude of my doctor. He came in (stayed less than 5 min), I gave him my symptoms, pulled both legs up and said it sounded like a herniated disc, then orders an x-ray, which didn't show much because he knew dam well, he should of ordered an MRI. Oh, I was told because I was able to hold my bowels, that he couldn't order an MRI and that I'd have to contact my primary, then ... read more
The nurses were very carrying towards my issues. The next day my daughter was very sick again the emergency room staffs were very helpful to my children and my husband. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for giving them spiritual hands to care for my family and I.
It's 2 in the afternoon and not a single Dr. has stopped in. Yale hasn't been felt here yet. If it had my husband wouldn't still be waiting to get his meal order changed by the doctors. I know Yale and that's not how they work. Do better L&M staff!

I discharged myself from the hospital today from the CCU because the nurse went against Dr's orders. The Dr prescribed me a medication and the nurse refused to give me it. Then proceeded to treat me like a drug addict and told me to get off my medications I take to control my chronic illness and that I should get the medical marijuana card that I can't afford.
