Yesterday Sean dislocated and fractured his ankle and we took him to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. My family would like to extend our thanks for the care Sean received in the Emergency Room. I applaud all of the many people who saw to it that he was comfortable, informed and taken care of. Excellent job everyone! �

I was brought in with a severe headache. I was lucky enough to beat the rush so check in was a breeze. I had the best ER doctor I have ever met. She also treated my BIL a few months before. Sweet, thorough, and prepared. After diagnosis of spinal meningitis I was admitted. All the staff were on the ball, personable and never in a stressed manner, even though the situations they were dealing with were above normal. Even the kitchen staff checked in on me if they noticed I wasn't eating enough. All my Doctors, including my Inf... read more

I had a brain MRI last night and the technicians were awesome, were totally patient with me because I am so claustrophobic😁
I can't express enough how thankful I am for the staff (nurses, doctors, receptionists, room service) for all of their dedicated help and care during the delivery of my son and the days that followed leading up to our discharge. Everyone was very friendly and courteous and quick to respond to my wife and child's needs. Thank you all so much. - Happy New Dad

The check in process should be faster. There are two people in the window. One was just sitting there signing pizza delivery slips, while the other listened and inputs information. There is no reason why people can stand at the window and discuss their personal lives, when there are others behind them trying to check in. I have been at this ER twice and there are people taking forever to check in. Streamline your process. Open both sides of the window. Absolutely ridiculous.
