Dana was horrible. She made my mom use the auto-cuff for blood pressure and it bruised her arm so badly. She didn't listen when my mom told her it hurt, and she said it was all they had there. The next day, another nurse was able to substitute it for something else. Apparently the doctors were good. It was just Dana.
I was seen today in the ER. I was very pleased with the service and the treatment that I received. My diagnosis ended up being pneumonia. My main concern, which is a very serious concern is that there was never a question of what my current medications were that I was on. I have lived in Olathe for the past 10 years. I had recently in August moved back to Lawrence so there was no current medication list nor were there even questions ask pertaining to any medication that I am currently taking(I do take several regularly). Tried to get my wife care with an almost empty ED when she was having high blood loss after losing a blood clot from childbirth a few weeks ago. Not only did they bring multiple other people in who had just arrived before us but we also had to wait over 15 minutes WHILE BLOOD IS FLOWING. Call the fire department for a better triage than the person at the front desk. As an update she ended up having to get a unit of blood and get transported via ambulance to KU.
Gaslighting a Veteran who on 01-19-26, coming to the ER for a possible femoral DVT, discounting their pain, then passing off test results as typical. Then, with a flippant attitude, says we’ll get you a pill, and we’ll get you outta here. Overly aggressively as in disgust, sliding open and closed the patient room door. Would you like being treated this way?!? If you’re a Veteran, don’t go to LMH.
