A four-hour operation to remove 3 degenerated disks in my cervical spine and replace with shims to relieve pressure on nerves in my arms. Turns out that it also relieved spinal stenosis which was causing lower back pain for years, and could have turned catastrophic. Almost no post-operative pain, staff set me up with everything I need by way of equipment and knowledge to heal. Dr. Maciolek explained all the engineering involved clearly and in detail. A wonderful experience, if you have to have surgery.
