They called me to tell me they were cancelling my appointment due to the doctor out of clinic (November appt) Called 4 times in total to reschedule, they never got back to me. Went in physically to the office to schedule and can’t get me in UNTIL JUNE.
Not the greatest facility and physicians on board. Have been overall displeased with their staff and physicians due to inability to effectively respond back to phone calls and messages within a timely manner. Had to wait several weeks for labs to be resulted, communication is very limited to nothing at all. Would not recommend this facility for endocrinology services.
I was referred here by Lawrence OBGYN for a semi urgent issue I am currently experiencing. When they called to make me an appointment I was told to "check elsewhere" becuase they only have 1 doctor and first available is not for at least 6 more months. At least they were honestly telling me NOT to choose this place, so there's that
I really like Dr Ortel, he listens and monitors my progress with my thyroid very closely. Happy to have found him and highly recommend.
Dr. Oertel is patient, kind and understanding. He really listens to your concerns and addresses them one by one. I have type 2 diabetes and thyroid issues. He has never once implied that my lifestyle is the issue, 10/10 would recommend!
