Horrible place to go!
Would give zero stars if possible. Anytime I've been to ER I've been treated with more suspicion than compassion, like "why are you here" kind of thing? Like people just can't wait to go to the ER. Oh, be billed for literally thousands of dollars to be treated more like a criminal instead of someone seeking help? Yeah, they're the worst. If possible go to KC or Topeka area hospitals for treatment. I take my family members to other ERs if at all possible and NEVER have we been treated like you are at LMH. The care I received was very good. The billing department is the worst. Absolutely the most unprofessional group I have ever worked with.
The care my son received for a dislocated finger was fine. No complaints about the clinicians. I know some of them personally, and they're great people. This was a very minor emergency, so easy fix. My complaint is about the billing and follow up. The fees they charge and the lack of accountability they show is just plain unethical. They outsource their billing, and it's an absolute nightmare.
