Good review of my situation, explored possible causes, proposed a two step treatment process and we began step one.
i like Weiss's straight forward approach. His willingness to listen first is always appreciated.
He treated me as an intelligent person and he listened to my side of the story. Dr Weiss took care of the immediate symptoms with an injection of local anesthesia and cortisone. This was my second injection into this finger by him in the last 5-6 months. He told me that I am at high risk for a recurrence due to other hand problems. He can keep injecting it which is a brief but nasty experience. We discussed 'getting off the merry-go-round' and having minor surgery, which I will probably do if this finger flares up again. .

Dr. Weiss is courteous, competent and compassionate.
We had to wait about 25 minutes past our appointment time. As for the Dr he was very honest and truthful about what was going on with my hand and gave me options and dd not go right to the surgery to correct my problem. He made me feel comfortable.
Dr Weiss has reviewed all my xrays prior and posted surgery to see what he did. He has been straight forward about lengthy recovery. He is very thorough about explaining where we are at with healing. Very happy I went to him with my problem to diagnose.
