RecommendedThere are almost too many instances to name where LCMH has been there for our family. I was born at this hospital and have spent quite a bit of time at the facility. I believe as a patient I have become familiar with most of the departments which are very professional: emergency room, surgery, therapy, lab, cafeteria, medical floor. I believe the only department that I have never visited is maintenance. The hospital employees are very good at their jobs. I have gone to this hospital since I was 16, after a car accident. I attribute the care of my Drs. and the staff of LCMH for saving my life many times. I must also add, I have been in Several large, metropolitan, renowned hospitals. NONE took any better care of me, or figured anything out that LCMH Drs. had not already known.
Just recently my sister passed. The nurse on duty in the ER did everything she could to bring her back but it was too late. I dont know who she was, she didn't know who my sister was. She came to her visitation to pay her respects. It was remarkable to see her there! Thank you to all the hospital staff and all that they do!!

my husband has had physical therapy there and everyone was great. also my mom is 91 and occasionally has to go in and everyone is always nice.
I recommend any department there! Im a chronically ill cancer survivor with severe pain. I live in lawrence county and would like to say Thank you to all the great staff at LCMH! I believe Ive had experience dealing with every department there and not once had a bad experience. Most know me by name and truely care. Many go out of their way and have in the past to help me get the procedures and tests I need done right here instead of traveling.
