Full mouth check was never done. Work was done mostly on what he could see so many things were missed (found out later). Cavity work was 50-50 as to whether or not filling would fall out soon after it was put in. Some fillings were put in without properly cleaning out cavity, so tooth rotted underneath filling. Very concerned about not causing pain, pleasant personally. Office/equipment is very out of date but charges were on the lower end of work done, so I guess you get what you pay for. Dr. Charmatz is a friendly, warm and down to earth dentist. He makes you feel at ease. Dr. Charmatz is compassionate and very detailed about procedures and information. He will explain step by step all that needs to be done and how to avoid unneccesary work. He favors a more holistic approach to dental care. Dr. Charmatz is also compassionate about dental discomfort. He understands the tension surrounding Novacaine injections and will suggest alternatives if possible.
