An excellent, orthopedic doctor with extensive experience. Does not jump to conclusions and has a conservative approach before recommending a procedure
My first visit with Dr Lefkowitz was a pleasure. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. I felt comfortable asking tough questions, to which, I received, honest no nosense answers.. I was greeted by a lovely, courteous office manager/ nurse immediately upon arrival. I was seen promptly and after my appointment I immediately made a follow-up... Even tho it is 45 min out of my way to get there.
I went to Dr. Lefkowitz for a herniated disk in my neck. He gave me several prescriptions, but didn't order an x-ray or MRI. After several days on the meds he prescribed, I was still in severe pain. He then changed my meds, but they didn't work either. I understand the current situation with opioid abuse, but I'm a patient with severe pain and I've been given nothing to combat it. Awful Experience please Stop at Away From this Office,Enter at your own Risk. This Doctor Acted Completely Unprofessional. He started Discussing Politics instead my Serious Back Issue. He hardly Did an Exam. My Exam Lasted all over 3 Minutes. I Have Never Been So Horrified Walking Out Of A Doctors Office. This Man Should Not Even Be Practicing. Making Jokes about Me Dying Before Him When I Recently Lost a 19 Day Old Child. very Unprofessional, Weird, Upsetting Experience. Please Save Youself...
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, treated me with pure UNPROVOKED contempt and hostility, Made snide remarks in menacing tones. In regards to my physical exam, I have seen baggers in supermarkets handle sacks of potatoes with more care and sensitivity. STAY AWAY ; avoid a potentially abusive and traumatic experience.
What a lovely person. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr Lefkowitz. His office is full of smiles and accommodation. I had to travel some distance to see Dr Lefkowitz arriving 1/2 hour early. He took me in immediately and I left his office before my official appointment started. He had an immediate plan of action making certain I understood every step of treatment. I feel very secure under the care of Dr Lefkowitz. Which really says a lot these days.
This Doctor was so mean, rude and inappropriate to my daughter. He needs to retire. Do not go to him!
