Lawnstarter’s a great app for a company just starting out and finding properties to take care of. There’s some things that they could do better but overall a decent app.
Lawn Starter has AWFUL customer service. They delayed coming for 5 days due to ‘inclement weather’ that we never had. When they finally came the grass had grown and they then charged us an EXTRA $54 for ‘long grass’. 1. The mowers didn’t even introduce themselves before they started mowing. 2. They never informed us that the grass was too tall to see if we were willing to pay the extra $54. Do NOT recommend.
I would give them 0 if I could. Don't sign up. They are fraud. They have bad services starting from mowing, cleaning to all the people that handle service from back end. I paused and tried to cancel in 2024 May. I was told rest assured it was canceled. But it was only paused, they started charging me for mowing services in April 2025 without any notification. 1st let me start by saying the only way I could leave this review and warn future customers is to give a minimum of 1 star, which is not deserved AT ALL! They literally sent anyone to my home! The man came with his pants hanging, and a mower that was on its last leg! It kept stopping then, he asked if I had one because if not he wasnt sure he could finish.
