I had a disaster on my hands. As a new pool owner, I had never been through a pool closing myself. I have pine trees in my yard and the cover was filled with pine straw. Even after pumping out all of the water on top of the cover, the saturated pine straw weighed too much and I was unable to pull the cover off without dumping them back into the pool.
