Although the DUI charge was removed, the speeding ticket charge remained.
The breath test results in my case were twice the legal limit, which could not be true. I had a feeling that this was going to lead to some serious penalties, so I contacted a number of drunk driving attorneys. Larry Kohn stood out, because he wasn't promising me the world, but instead explaining the seriousness of the charge and ways to approach the case. In the end I was found not guilty of drunk driving. My dui case was very complicated and things did not look good. At the end of the trial Mr. Willis prevailed and my drunk driving charge was tossed out. I did not know Mr. Willis or Shay before the case, but they are now close friends.
