Do not hire Steven Ibarra for any case involving your child. I paid Steven Ibarra $6,000 in a case involving my daughter, and hiring him was one of the worst mistakes I made in this matter. I hired this law office for a Los Angeles County child custody matter in March 2024 and paid a $6,000 retainer. After the initial intake, communication became extremely difficult. On 10/24/2025, I was told a refund would be issued and that an assistant would contact me. To date, I have not received a refund and I have never received an itemized billing/accounting for the $6,000. I've used these folks on 2 separate occasions for different needs and both time they have exceeded my expectations, very professional staff including the assistants and the attorneys but at the same time very caring , they have made me feel like I was their priority case and answered all my concerns, a great law firm with personal touch and care, highly recommend them!
