Dr. Lava is the bomb, honestly. If you have heard the words, "You have multiple sclerosis," then this 4 foot tall, gray haired, real life gnome is the one to see.
Starting out, Dr. Lava was a good doctor but as time went on his schedule changed and it would take months to see him because he only came in a couple days a week. So instead of seeing him when I needed an appointment, I was always scheduled to see his nurse practitioner. She is not a doctor and sometimes when I had questions, she couldn't answer them and she would prescribe different medications to try to help and usually they didn't. I'm actually a native of SC so me and family made the 3-4 hour trip, Dr Lava was so understanding, compassionate and for the first time he made me feel like i was actually seen, his concern was genuine, all patients should be treated this way, all physicians should have this standard of care, thank-you for seeing me today
