My wife surprised me with a Cherry Pie from Lauretta Jean's last week. Fruit pies are the only dessert I enjoy and as a "good ol' country boy"...I am a bit of an expert on the matter. This pie was the best pie I have had in 15 years, no exaggeration. Perfect cherry filling (not syrup, real cherries), perfect crust to filling ratio and let me tell you about that crust!
