He always takes time to listen. He is knowledgable, kind, thorough, and reassuring. I have been his patient for 11 years. My questions are always addressed. If I need to call the office, they return my call promptly and have always resolved any issue. They are very efficient in keeping my other doctors updated.Highly recommend Dr Tokaz and Texas oncology
I have been seeing Dr. Tokaz for about 20 years, for two different cancers. Both have been resolved to date, thanks to Dr. Tokaz and his team. Dr. Tokaz is warm and comforting when one is down with cancer. I can't recommend him more highly. He explains diagnosis, treatment, and recovery in a way that is understandable to the lay person.
I have been very impressed with Dr. Tokaz, he seems to genuinely care about his patients. He's not one of those doctors that try to rush you through your appointment. His bedside manners are the best.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Tokaz since 2004. I credit him with saving my life because he insisted that I needed chemo and not just radiation for my breast cancer. I actually look forward to our appointments because he takes time with me. He sits down and listens to my concerns rather than rushing through to get to the next patient. He’s compassionate, caring, and gentle when you need that. He’s also up to date on the latest studies and treatments. To me he is the example of what all physicians should be.
Saved my life ..: breast cancer 2007??????
None better! Dr. Tokaz has been treating me for 13 years, thru 2 separate cases of Lymphoma. Both now in remission. In the first case, I went to MD Anderson for a second opinion. They reviewed all my test results, labs, pet scans. They told me they would not change anything in my treatment plan. He is a friendly, professional; as is his staff. I recommend him highly.
Dr. Tokaz has been our family Oncology doctor since my wife contracted colon cancer over 10 years ago. His knowledge in his field of practice is beyond reproach. He continues to learn the latest skill sets possible and is involved in cancer research as well. I can't say enough of his bedside manner, nor, of his nurses and office staff. Trying to call for follow up appointments sometimes can be trying. They prefer you leave a voice msg and they will return your call.
