My niece urgently requires her medical records. Despite her verbal request to have them sent to an out-of-state clinic, she was informed it would take 8-10 days, which is completely unacceptable as she needs them immediately. Her grandmother has repeatedly tried to contact the office for assistance but has been unable to reach anyone. This lack of responsiveness is causing unnecessary anxiety for patients and reflects poorly on their professionalism. It's advisable to avoid this place if you prioritize mental health.
I have used other psychologists, nurse practitioners and counselors in Alexandria who provided very little help. Dr Stokes and my counselor, Cynthia Cayer, have been absolutely amazing!!! With the adjustment of my meds and EMDR therapy, I can already see a difference in my depression and anxiety in just a little over ONE month!!
