I’ve had a really frustrating experience dealing with Jeff as the property manager. Communication has been poor, maintenance requests have gone unanswered, and I’ve repeatedly had to follow up just to get basic information about problems in my apartment. Most concerning has been an ongoing bathroom moisture/mold issue that has continued despite previous attempts to address it. Although I've never personally rented with this company, I will say they (Jeff in my experience) are highly unprofessional. I was told by a separate leasing agency that I had gotten an apartment that I had talked to the agent about extensively and applied for, and then the building unfortunately changed leasing agencies to Laurel Realty a few days later just before I received my lease. We've been very pleased with our place from Laurel Realty over the past couple years. Brendan is our point of contact and is always very quick to help us fix anything. For example, we had some issues with our dishwasher and oven when first moving in, and both were replaced with new appliances within a day or two. Have never had a hassle with Brendan, and he always responds and quickly has a professional to come visit us and address any maintenance repairs ASAP. Had a great experience working with Brendan for our unit in Russian Hill.
Moved into a studio apartment in Hayes Valley run by this management company. They were extremely responsive to any issues I had, every time something broke it was fixed within a couple of days, every time I had a question it was answered within 24 hours. The rent was reasonable and in 3 1/2 years they never raised it. That's pretty rare in San Francisco! I would highly recommend renting a property run by this company.
