My son broke the humerus of his arm during birth. Dr. Benson was able to get us in the day after we were discharged and gave us such a sense of peace and calm about the situation, and confidence in our son’s ability to heal, what to do to take care of him, and that his “victory fracture” would be ok. She was fast and efficient but I never felt rushed or like we weren’t the priority. She was very ginger and caring toward my 2 day old baby, and at each follow up over the following 3 weeks. Shows great knowledge and experience ... read more
My 12 year old daughter went in for a consultation after a MRSA infection in which she spent 14 days in Children's Hospital. She had her heal bone drilled in two times and her ankle cleaned out/ cut open 3 times in two weeks. She came in and told my 12 year old that she would never play soccer again. Told her to take up swimming or biking. My daughter ran out of the office balling. I looked at her and said she will *ing play soccer again. She absolutely killed any and all hopes of a 12 years old. None the less I found an ama... read more
Laurel Benson has been my son’s provider for 10 years, starting with his first series of spica casts. Her professionalism, expertise, bed-side manner, humor, and artistic ability (she painted fun designs on his casts) are a rare find. I recommend her — hands down!
There are no words to adequately express my admiration and gratitude for Dr. Laurel Benson. My son was born with a hand deformity. The doctors at the hospital where I had delivered our son had never seen this before, and we were funneled directly to Dr. Benson when our son was one day old. Dr. Benson immediately calmed our fears, explained to us what h... read more

Dr Benson I felt treated us like family though scheduling dropped the ball a couple times, I won’t let that reflect on her and she made things happen even though!!
Dr. Benson is great. She takes her time with the patient and explains things well. She is very thorough.
Dr. Benson was incredible with our 6 year old. He was so nervous about his surgery and she calmed him down and helped him through the whole experience. She took the time to talk to him and us. We were so pleased with her and her ability she has with children.
