My mother was diagnosed with a rare form of vaginal cancer. A treatment plan was put in place. 6 months later that plan was completed. Upon her post treatment scans Dr. Laura Williams said to us " There is a lesion but I'm not concerned with that. You are Cancer free at this time. " 2 months later the pain comes back so my mom goes to get more scans and guess what, that precancerous lesion had metastasized and spread throughout her entire body. Since then this Doc has stayed distant from her patient.
I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for the past 3.5 years. I can't say enough good things about her and her staff. She has the most efficiently run office I have ever been in. Dr. Williams is a very kind, well-educated, and dedicated professional. Once I got over my initial shock of having cancer, I felt safe and secure in her hands. I am extremely grateful for her.
For the last five years Dr. Williams has monitored & treated my condition and is the reason I sleep at night. I am always listened to, never rushed and have always felt I was receiving the best care available. She answers all of my questions and is easy to schedule with. Dr. Williams performed robotic surgery (hysterectomy) on me, to remove 785 grams of fibroid tumors/uterus (4 really big ones, about 7-8 cm in diameter each) that were causing a great deal of pain, discomfort, and poor quality of life. I am so impressed with how capable, professional, and amazing Dr. Laura is!! With just some small incisions and the DaVinci robot, she performed a successful surgery with a very quick recovery. The office itself is very nice and so are the people working in it. The phlebotomists on the third floor are very competent and pleasant. However, I will not be returning to Centennial Medical Center for any more scans, hospitalizations, or interventional radiological procedures. I found the hospital transport team and two of the hospital nurses to be incompetent. Also, I was not told that the port implantation procedure would be performed by a non-doctor. Friendly efficient office. Dr. Williams answers all your questions and I didn`t feel rushed at all. I would definitely recommend this office!
I love the fact that Dr. Williams never double books patients. I have never had to wait more than five minutes to be taken back or to be seen. Very friendly staff!!
