Dr Laura Saelinger-Shafer is by far the best primary/internalist I have ever had. She is extremely patient, always takes time to explain everything, very thorough and compassionate. She never makes me feel rushed, even if I have a short visit scheduled. She cares about her patients and it shows, always quick to reply on my chart, will call after hours to give you test results, never makes me feel that any of my questions are too small to address. Highly recommend!

I am Martina Shea. My husband Brian Shea and I have been patients of this amazing doctor for nearly 20 years. She is incredibly thorough and super competent. She writes summaries and recommendations as late as 2 am. And if she does not get a response from you, she will call you up personally. She took Med School 101 incredibly serious. Be there for your patient, touch your patient, listen to your patient, and refer your patient to a subject expert if you feel that’s necessary. I am disappointed that I had to sit so long in the waiting room, at least 20 min past our appointment time and then waited another 20 min in the exam room.
