August 17th 2006 @ 6:12pm my life changed. A drunk driver pinned me into a utility pole and my ankle rotated 180 degrees. So much damage to my ankle and a split open knee. After several surgeries and attempts by other surgeons the head of orthopedic trauma at the time saved my ankle from being amputated. Shy of 20 years later I am indebted to Dr. Laura Phieffer. Thank you & my gratitude will never be enough. Brilliant Surgeon!
I was in a car wreck and broke my femur bone and Dr.Phieefer was my surgeon and put a rod from my knee to my pelvis with screws in it she was great and I healed great I was a tramua patient and she explained everything to my mom great as I was out of it on pain meds! Thanks Dr.Phieefer!!!
