Dr. Malmut is a wonderful doctor. She really cares about her patients and takes the time to have an in-depth conversation and answer any questions the patient has.
I've never written a bad review about anyone ever, but today Dr. Malmut changed that for me. I left my house really early and was at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington DC to pick up my father who was being discharged. My father also had an appointment to get to at MedStar Georgetown Hospital, which is a few miles from the MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital where Dr. Malmut was his doctor. Dr. Laura Malmut is the best! She is very professional, knowledgeable, attentive and kind. Even though I believe her focus is on rehabilitation medicine, she saved my husband’s life when she spotted that he looked drained and sent him for hemoglobin tests that revealed a life-threatening condition that needed immediate emergency treatment! Without her intervention at that moment, he most certainly could have had a heart attack and died. She is AWESOME, and we love her!
