Although she left us with an exceptional replacement(Dr. Strouse), I will forever remain grateful for Dr. Decastro. The best hematologist I ever had. Very knowledgeable ,truly friendly ,explained everything to me. I had a family crisis, she even called me personally to give her condolences.
Dr. DeCastro is amazing. She is one of the best doctor’s I have ever had. She explains everything and what she is looking for in the tests she requests. I feel lucky to have found her as a doctor.
She is rude and a bully. She doesn't have an ounce of compassion for her patients. When trying to talk about care it's her way with complete dismissal of your concerns. Needs license revoked. Or at least get some sensitivity training. You need to act like a person with feelings and understanding not a robot with degrees. Never been so ashamed of a hospital being associated with that type of doctor. Doctors are supposed to help not hurt.
